WhatiseBrokering.com is run by Wade Fitzgerald, a founder from St. John's, Newfoundland who has spent over two decades in search marketing — long enough to watch the web fill up with "best of" lists written by people who never tried the products and directories that list anyone who pays.
This directory works the other way around. Every company gets put through the same checks before it earns a page: can you reach a human, is there a free trial, is there a real money-back policy, is the fine print clean, and what do verified customers actually say. The evidence we find is published right on the listing — and the companies that fail are published too, on our rejection list.
We've reviewed 5,376 companies so far; only 59% hold a listing today. Some listings use affiliate links (clearly disclosed) — that's how the vetting gets funded without charging visitors a cent. Companies can't buy a better verdict; they can only earn one.
